Funding for KiCS - the SickKids Cancer Sequencing Program

Kurling for Kids has committed to directing all funds raised in 2023 and 2024 events in Toronto to KiCS.  KiCS, the SickKids Cancer Sequencing Program is one of the world’s leading programs of its kind. It is where oncologists bring their most difficult cases: kids susceptible to cancer; kids with aggressive, hard-to-treat cancers; and kids with rare or hard-to-classify tumours.

KiCS analyzes a child’s DNA - and their tumour’s DNA - to figure out what’s causing the cancer, and most importantly how to STOP it.
