Why Play

Join us in making a difference by supporting children’s hospitals across Canada through the sport we love.

Kurling for Kids began as a way for father, Robert Sears and mother, Sylvie Sanschagrin to give back after their daughter Jessica received life-saving care at CHU Sainte-Justine. In 1999, the event was renamed Kurling for Kids and became an annual curling tournament dedicated to supporting children’s hospitals in Montreal.

Since then, it has grown into a national movement, raising over $5.8 million in support of children and families facing health challenges.
