GREETINGS AND WELCOME TO THE 28TH ANNUAL KURLING FOR KIDS FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN

"CURLING FOR A CAUSE!"

On behalf of the Kurling for Kids Executive Committee, our volunteers, curlers, fundraisers, and especially the thousands of children who benefit from your support, we invite you to join us for K4K 2026. From humble beginnings of $6,628 in 1999, we set a fundraising record of $570,000 in 2024. Over the past twenty-seven years, we have raised more than $5.8 million for children’s hospitals. This year marks K4K’s 28th anniversary, and we are thrilled to partner with even more clubs and organizations across Canada to continue making a meaningful impact.

The past several years brought unprecedented challenges, as we had to cancel either all or part of our main curling events due to the pandemic. Many corporate and affiliate in-person events were also cancelled. Despite these obstacles, Kurling for Kids still raised $1,125,000 between 2020 and 2023, a testament to the dedication and generosity of our volunteers, participants, and supporters across the country.

As well we were able to add 6 new children's hospitals to the Kurling for Kids family as funds were also raised for the following new hospitals and foundations:

  • HSC Winnipeg Children's Hospital (2026)

  • Boundary Trails Health Center (BTHC) in Manitoba (2024)

  • Centre hospitalier universitaire de Sherbrooke (CHUS)

  • SickKids Hospital in Toronto

  • Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO)

  • Stollery Children's Hospital in Edmonton

This was the first step in what we hope will be the trend for many years as Kurling for Kids looks to expand and continue to add more children's hospitals across Canada until we are raising funds for all of them!  The way our fundraising works is that all funds raised in a region will go to the children's hospital in that region.  So funds stay local and participants can rest assured that all funds collected will go to your closest children's hospital.

Our ambitious goal for our 28th anniversary year is $400,000! We can only achieve this amount with your hard work and our participants’ fundraising efforts!
