GREETINGS AND WELCOME TO THE 28TH ANNUAL KURLING FOR KIDS FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN

"CURLING FOR A CAUSE!"

On behalf of the Kurling for Kids Executive Committee, our volunteers, curlers, fundraisers, and especially the thousands of children who benefit from your support, we invite you to join us for K4K 2026.

From humble beginnings of $6,628 in 1999, we set a fundraising record of $570,000 in 2024. Over the past twenty-eighth years, we have raised more than $5.8 million in support of children’s hospitals.

This year marks K4K’s 28th anniversary, and we are thrilled to partner with even more clubs and organizations across Canada to continue making a meaningful impact.

The past several years brought unprecedented challenges, as we had to cancel either all or part of our main curling events due to the pandemic. Many corporate and affiliate in-person events were also cancelled.

Despite these obstacles, Kurling for Kids still raised $1,125,000 between 2020 and 2023, a testament to the dedication and generosity of our volunteers, participants, and supporters across the country.

We are also proud to have welcomed six new children’s hospitals and foundations to the Kurling for Kids family, with funds raised in support of the following:

  • Children's Hospital Foundation of Manitoba (2026)

  • Boundary Trails Health Center (BTHC) in Manitoba (2024)

  • Centre hospitalier universitaire de Sherbrooke (CHUS)

  • SickKids Hospital in Toronto

  • Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO)

  • Stollery Children's Hospital in Edmonton

This marks an important step in what we hope will be a long-term trend, as Kurling for Kids continues to expand and support more children’s hospitals across Canada.

Our fundraising model focuses on supporting hospitals within each region, helping ensure that funds raised benefit children and families in the communities where they are collected.

Our ambitious goal for our 28th anniversary year is to raise $400,000 in support of children’s hospitals. We can only achieve this with your hard work and our participants’ fundraising efforts!
